Mission Statement

Mission Statement
The Grace School of Dance is committed to worshipping God through dance. We will serve Him by offering technique classes, worship, choreography, rehearsals, and evangelism through dance, primarily classical ballet, to reach Marion County, surrounding areas and the world for Christ and His kingdom.

Apologetic
Philosophy
We believe God has created every man, woman, and child for His Glory and has equipped them with gifts in which to give him praise. For many, a gift God has given them to bring Him Glory is dance. Psalm 150.

We Believe
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a blameless life here on earth, was crucified for our sins and on the third day rose again. He now sits at the right hand of the Father in Heaven.

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14

Salvation
We believe that all men are born with a sinful nature that can only be redeemed through faith in Jesus Christ and the resurrection power of the cross; and that through this faith we receive eternal life with our Father in Heaven.

The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in the baptism and manifestations of the Holy Spirit and the gifts thereof.

The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Scriptures are God-breathed and are inspired by His Spirit and that the Word of God is living and active.

Evangelism
We believe in the Great Commission; the calling to go and make disciples of many nations and to spread the good news of Christ. We believe the great commission is the obligation of every believer.

Vision
The vision is a studio and space where technique classes and rehearsals are housed to provide training on how to use the gift of dance to glorify and honor God, and encourage the body of Christ through dance ministry. Students will be trained on the importance of prayer, worship, praise and evangelism. We desire to go out and minister to the people and body of Christ in the Marion County, surrounding areas and around the world to fulfill the great commission and see the body of Christ unified and purified for the coming of our beloved King and His Kingdom.

Goal
Grace School of Dance and Ministries’ goal is to see students trained and equipped to carry the message of Jesus Christ in dance to their communities and the world to glorify God.

Objective
Faculty members are committed to establishing a sound spiritual environment, that is secure, calm, organized, and accountable and that carries out the mission statement that structurally upholds its philosophy. Faculty members are dedicated to worshipping the Lord in dance and providing a Christian world-view of the arts within a Christ centered environment.

It is our wish to impart a love for the Lord first and then dance and to encourage each student to reach their highest level physically and spiritually in dance. Our school serves the body of Christ in all ages that possess the desire to know God intimately and worship Him through dance. We desire to give excellent training with personal and loving instruction and spiritual discipleship. We will teach the discipline of body and mind and provide biblical instruction through prayer and knowledge of God’s Word. This will equip each student to minister to their communities and the world through dance from the guidance of the Holy Spirit, revealing His love and presence for the Glory of our King.

Performing opportunities serve as an opportunity to minister to the body of Christ, people in our community and world. We believe the creative process communicates the spiritual truths of God, His Word, and His purposes. So that the lost may be saved, the sick healed, the bride be made ready, and that the Lord may be glorified and His kingdom manifest itself here on earth.

Rules & Attire for Ballet Class

Rules & Attire for Dance Class
Class starts promptly at indicated time. Please arrive as early as you need to be ready for class.
Classes are at times fast moving, so please do not wear large chains or necklaces, large earrings, watches or bracelets in class. No gum is allowed and please use the restroom before class begins.

Pre-Ballet –Ballet 2
All students need to wear a light pink leotard over pink tights. We ask that they wear a light pink skirt over their leotard as well. We prefer canvas split sole ballet shoes. please no "house slipper ballet shoes" as they cause the dancer fall frequently. Please pull hair up and secure back from face.
